City Corrections Worker Arrested In Harlem For Drunk Driving: Police

Officials said a 50-year-old Corrections Department worker was charged with driving while intoxicated.

HARLEM, NY — A city Corrections Department employee was cuffed early Thursday morning for drunk driving in East Harlem, officials said.

Damrie Aquino, 50, was charged with driving while intoxicated at around 1:30 a.m., according to police.

She was off-duty at the time, officials noted.

Despite asking for more routine information about the arrest of the city employee, including the location and any circumstances leading up to the arrest, two seperate NYPD spokespeople told Patch that the information was not available on the complaint report.
