Man, 73, Robbed At Gunpoint Inside Harlem Apartment Building: NYPD

The thieving duo swiped the victim's wallet, cell phone and about $1,700 in cash, police said. Have you seen them?

HARLEM, NY - A pair of thieves robbed a 73-year-old man inside a Harlem apartment building last month, authorities said.

The victim was inside NYCHA’s King Towers at 1390 5th Ave. near West 115th Street on Jan. 12 about 6:45 p.m. when the duo approached him and threatened him with a gun, police said.

The men then swiped the victim’s wallet, cell phone and about $1,700 in cash. The pair then fled the area.

It was not immediately clear if the victim was inside an apartment unit at the time of the robbery.

The victim didn’t report any physical injuries as a result of the incident.
