Man Slashed At 125th Street Train Station, Arrest Made: NYPD

HARLEM, NY — A man standing accused of slashing a person within a Harlem train station was arrested and charged with assault, police said on Tuesday.

Bronx resident Enrique Rivera, 58, was arrested on Friday in connection to slashing a person standing on the mezzanine level of the 125th Street A train station on May 15 , police said.

The slashing happened after Rivera started an argument with the other man, before slashing him in the right shoulder and abdomen with a box cutter, police said.

The injured man was taken to NYC Health and Hospitals/Harlem in stable condition, police said.
