Newcomers Club Thanks Community After Successful Fundraiser

Dear all,

Over the last two weeks since the enormous tragedy hit Japan, we Japanese residents in Harrison have witnessed and felt the overwhelming compassion, solidarity and good will from the citizens of Harrison. We would like to express our heartfelt “THANK YOU!” to each and every one of you.

The “” community tag sale was a great success and we cannot express enough how impressed and grateful we are for  the support we received prior to and during this event.

It was indeed the result of your hard work, immeasurable energy and speed in such a short period of time.

Being so remote from our native home, we went through many stressful days watching the unimaginable scenes unfold, and listening to many stories of misery from the people suffering back home. Without your earnest and generous support, we would be spending a much more difficult time.

We are indeed fortunate to be a part of Harrison.
