Cheerleaders Earn Bid to National Competition

Harrison cheerleading once again proved they can do more than support their fellow Husky teams this weekend, finishing fifth in a regional competition at Hofstra University. 

Saturday's Empire State Regional Competition featured top cheer squads from all over the northeast region. The fifth place finish was good enough to earn the Harrison team an invitation to the UCA National High School Competition this February in Orlando, FL. 

The Harrison cheerleaders are no stranger to success. Last year the squad and has already at this year's county competition in White Plains.

Harrison will be in action again on Saturday Dec. 11 for the "Festival of Champions" at New Rochelle High School.
