I-287 Car Accident Slows Rush Hour Traffic
A car accident in the west-bound lane of Interstate 287 slowed traffic during the early rush hour Wednesday.
A motor vehicle accident Wednesday slowed traffic on Interstate 287 throughout most of the early evening rush hour.
A silver four-door vehicle was in the left shoulder of the west-bound lane just short of the Underhill Road overpass. It was towed from the scene at 3 p.m.
One west-bound lane was closed at 3 p.m. while all lanes were open on the east-bound side. Traffic was significantly backed up in the west-bound direction but east-bound traffic was mostly unaffected..
