- This January three tours allow you to stroll through Brooklyn's history – either exploring Fulton Street, which "once boasted a wealth of department stores, theaters and restaurants," or Gowanus, or slightly further afield, Bay Ridge. The tours are offered both in-person and virtually. (Brooklyn Paper)
- High School students at Stuyvesant and Brooklyn Tech staged a walk-out on Tuesday, calling for a remote learning option during the omicron surge. The school commissioner announced he would meet with student organizers, but for now it looks like the DOE is still firmly against ending in-person learning. (AMNY)
