  1. Multiple subway lines, including the B, are suspended due to staffing shortages as MTA workers test positive for COVID. Additionally, the A and 3 trains are running with delays. (NYC Patch)
  2. Permits were filed for a 38-story high-rise at 55 Willoughby Street in Downtown Brooklyn. The building looks like it would be majority residential, and there's no projected completion date as of now. (New York YIMBY)
  3. Mayor Adams announced that public schools would remain open throughout the Omicron surge, stating in an interview that "calmness is competency," and saying that schools are a safer place for students than their home community.
