2 Motor Vehicle Collisions Reported In Huntington

HUNTINGTON, NY — Two motor vehicle collisions were reported within approximately half an hour of each other in Huntington on Friday morning, Suffolk police told Patch.

A woman driving a Lexus was making a left turn from Main Street to West Neck Road when she struck a BMW traveling westbound on Main Street at 11:14 a.m., police said. The man driving the BMW went to Huntington Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

A landscaping truck was heading northbound on Sound View Road in Huntington when the driver of the vehicle struck a parked vehicle, a pole and overturned around 11:50 a.m., police said. No injuries were reported, the department said.
