5th Annual PUBlic Art Crawl Coming To Huntington: Info
People can celebrate local art, music, vendors, and restaurants. There will be children's activities, tours, and more.

HUNTINGTON, NY — The 5th Annual PUBlic Art Crawl is scheduled for noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 17, according to a news release. A rain date is slated for Saturday, May 31.
The PUBlic Art Crawl strives to bring the community together to celebrate art, music, local vendors, restaurants and the vibrant village of Huntington. It was created by the Arts and Experiences committee of the Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce.
The event will feature three main hubs, which will have a welcome table for all participants.

Participants will receive their free crawl tote (while supplies last) which will have a Mural Scavenger Hunt deck and guided map inside.

1. Artist Alley: The alley between New Street (Thai USA) and New York Avenue (Yaas Tea). There will be a live community mural led by Huntington artist, Anna Edwards. It is open to all to be a part of the mural painting throughout the day.
2. Front lawn of St. John's Episcopal Church (at 12 Prospect Street - facing Main Street). There will be a pop up local art market of local artists at this location.
3. Huntington Historical Society, where there will be a welcome table, live painting and live music.
Kids Activities:
Three children's activities at The Calling Bell (51 Gibson Avenue), Ben and Jerry's (298 Main Street) and the back courtyard of Huntington Art Center (7 Wall Street).
Tours:
There will be one tour scheduled from 3 to 4 p.m. stopping at four restaurant/pub locations with a live artist, and 4 to 5 p.m. with four differnet restaurant/pub locations with a live artist. People could do both.
