Blaze Breaks Out Behind Outback Steakhouse In Huntington Station

The excavator fire occurred on Friday morning.

Firefighters put out an excavator fire that broke out behind Outback Steakhouse in Huntington Station on Friday morning.

According to fire officials, an excavator at the rear of the restaurant, located at 839 New York Ave., caught fire at 11:20 a.m. The Huntington Manor Fire Department responded to the scene with two fire engines and quickly got the blaze under control.

No injuries were reported
