Cooper To Be Honored by Holocaust Museum

Former Suffolk County majority leader Jon Cooper will be honored Nov. 19 by The Holocaust Memorial & Tolerance Center of Nassau County.

Cooper, a Lloyd Harbor resident, and Jack Foley, who will also be honored, have both served on the organization's board.

Pop singer Gloria Gaynor will perform her top hit, I Will Survive.

The  21st annual tribute dinner will be held at the Old Westbury Hebrew Congregation.

Guest speaker will be Dr. Bernd Wollschlaeger, author of “A German Life: Against All Odds Change is Possible.”
