Cops: Car Stolen, Man Jumped And Robbed, Home Burglarized

Here are incidents reported in the Huntington area, according to Suffolk County Police.

Sunday, July 8

At 2:31 a.m., police reported a robbery in which four people hit a man and took his wallet containing cash on New York Avenue in Huntington Station. Police say the robbers then fled the scene. The person attacked was not treated.

At 4:20 a.m., police reported a grand larceny in which a 2017 Jeep Cherokee was stolen from a Melville Road residence in South Huntington.

At 8:30 p.m., police reported a burglary in which someone entered a Boulevard Avenue home in Greenlawn by breaking open a window with a brick. It is unknown what was taken from the home.
