Dominick Fasolino, Longtime Huntington Resident, Dies at 90
A retired monument company president, Fasolino had resided in Huntington for the past 23 years.

Dominick Joseph Fasolino, age 90, of Huntington, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, Sept. 22. He had been a Huntington resident for 23 years.
Dom was born on Jan. 11, 1935 in Woodside, Queens, the son of Francesco Fasolino and Elsa Gallo Fasolino. He attended Forest Hills High School. A dedicated businessman, he proudly worked for many decades as the president of Fasolino Memorials in Middle Village, Queens, a longstanding monument company began by his father. Dom was a past president of the New York State Monument Builders Association and enjoyed membership in the Kiwanis Club and Order Sons of Italy in America. Following his retirement, he was passionate about traveling the world; following his beloved Rangers, Mets and Jets; socializing with his friends at the local Town of Huntington Senior Center, Wolf Hill Senior Club and Centerport Senior Beach House; and working at Huntington Hospital, where he volunteered from 2010 to 2020.
Dom was survived by his wife Joan Resnik; son Gregory Fasolino (wife Brittany); daughter Susanne Fasolino; grandchildren Rudolf Fasolino and Josefina Fasolino; and sister Elsa Fasolino Morano. He was predeceased by his first wife, Rose Marie Jochum Fasolino; his parents; brothers Ernest Fasolino and Pasquale Fasolino; and sisters Anna Fasolino Vaden and Frances Fasolino.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 30, from 2-5pm and 7-9pm, at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Avenue, Huntington Station. Interment will take place the following day after a private ceremony at Huntington Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the nonprofit Cinema Arts Centre of Huntington, as Dom and his wife were avid moviegoers and patrons.
