Greenlawn Wins Title Of Best Tasting Water In Suffolk
The Greenlawn Water District has won the Best Tasting Water in Suffolk County eight times and Best Tasting Water in New York State twice.

The Greenlawn Water District was recently recognized for having the best tasting water in Suffolk County.
The Greenlawn Water District was formed in 1927. Their drinking water is regularly tested to ensure purity and safety.
Greenlawn Water District has won the Best Tasting Water in Suffolk County eight times and Best Tasting Water in New York State twice. This contest has been held for 32 years.

The district will join the local downstate winners to compete in the Regional contest that is held on the steps of the Museum of Natural History in Manhattan in Manhattan. The winner will then compete in the New York State Fair in Syracuse for Best Tasting Water in New York State on Labor Day weekend.
The water district was presented a proclamation at a Huntington Town Board meeting on July 17.

Councilman Mark Cuthbertson presented the proclamation, which was accepted by Greenlawn Water Commissioners James M. Logan, Chairman, John H. Clark, Secretary, John T. McLaughlin, Treasurer and Greenlawn Water District Superintendent Bob Santoriello.
“I want to thank the Greenlawn Water District for all of their hard work they do and I wish them the best of luck in the upcoming competitions,” Cuthbertson said.
