Gregory Hallinan, 60-Year Huntington Firefighter, Dies At 84

Gregory James Hallinan, a 60-year member of the Huntington Fire Department and honorary chief, died on April 1. He was 84.

Hallinan is survived by his wife, Pauline; children, Karen, Kevin (Denise) and Shauna; grandchildren, Victoria, Christopher and Maurice; and nieces, Kathleen, Susan and Caroline.

Visitation is on Thursday, April 4 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at M.A. Connell Funeral Home. A firematic service will be held at 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Funeral Mass Friday 9:45 AM at St. Patrick’s Church, Huntington. Interment to follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Huntington.
