Harborfields 2025-26 School Budget Passes Easily

GREENLAWN, NY — Residents within the boundaries of the Harborfields School District on Tuesday voted to pass the 2025-26 school budget by a margin of 817 yes votes to 165 no votes.

The district's budget is $102,398,324, up 2.64 percent from last year's. The tax levy is $75,699,975, up 2.36 percent.

Rebecca Dorsogna and Jeanette Wojcik ran unopposed for three-year terms on the school board. Incumbents Hansen Lee and Colleen Wolcott decided to not seek re-election.

  • Jeanette Wojcik: 738 votes

The trustee candidates were elected to the two spots currently held by Colleen Wolcott and Hansen Lee, who did not run for re-election. Their terms are set to run from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2028.
