Huntington 2025-26 School Budget Passes Easily

HUNTINGTON, NY — Residents within the boundaries of the Huntington School District on Tuesday voted to pass the 2025-26 school budget by a margin of 789 yes votes to 200 no votes.

The district's budget is $157,776,153, up 3.61 percent from last year's. The tax levy is $120,426,114, up 2.89 percent.

The two school board candidates, Jenna Prada and Jon Weston, ran unopposed for two openings. Incumbents Bill Dwyer and Michele Kustera decided not to run again.
