Huntington Hit-And-Run Suspect Sought; Photo Released: Police

Police say the woman fled after a Park Avenue crash and may have been driving a 2018–2023 dark red Subaru Crosstrek.

HUNTINGTON, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Second Precinct Crime Section officers are asking for the public’s help identifying a woman who reportedly left the scene of a crash in Huntington, police said.

A person was driving north on Park Avenue when their vehicle struck a southbound 2009 Toyota on November 26 at about 5:50 p.m., police said.

The 68-year-old man driving the Toyota was not hurt, according to police.

The woman believed to be involved fled the scene, police said. Investigators think she was driving a 2018–2023 dark red Subaru Crosstrek, according to police.
