Huntington Station Resident Receives 'Living The Mission' Award
She was presented the award by her employer, Catholic Health Services.

A Huntington Station resident was recently presented the Living the Mission award by her employer, Catholic Health Services.
Katherine “Kate” Eysler, a clinical nurse project manager of Quality Programs, was recognized for exemplifying CHS's core values, including integrity, compassion and respect. She was honored at CHS's Farmingdale office.
“Kate is eager to spread CHS's successes to other hospitals in the hopes they too can yield the same positive patient outcomes," a colleague said. "It goes without saying that Kate proudly represents and carries out CHS's mission."

Since joining CHS in June 2017, Eysler created an "Employee of the Month" award and a "Kudos Board" for her department where team members can post notes to recognize each other's performance. She has been lauded by coworkers for boosting the team morale and cohesiveness. She also recruited coworkers to volunteer at the Bob Sweeney's Camp H.O.P.E. program, a two-day program for bereaved children.
“Being part of an organization that truly cares and is motivated by making a difference in our surrounding community is very important to my personal goals and aspirations," Eysler said.
