Unofficial Results: Steve Stern Declares Victory Over Aamir Sultan For NYS AD 10
Incumbent Steve Stern looked to defend his seat over challenger Aamir Sultan.
SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY — Voters went to the polls on Tuesday to decide the NYS Assembly District 10 race between incumbent Steve Stern (D) and the challenger, Aamir Sultan (R)
Here are the live results, last updated at 10:00 a.m. 105 of 105 districts have reported results.
Stern defeated Sultan, according to the unofficial results.

- Steve Stern: 33,200 votes
- Aamir Sultan: 26,241 votes
Stern took to Facebook on Wednesday morning to declare victory.
"Thank You to my neighbors and to everyone with our campaign for your continued confidence," Stern wrote. "With your support and our impressive win, my outstanding staff and I will always work hard for our entire community. We know well that serving you and your families is our privilege and we will continue to make you proud."

The 10th State Assembly District covers Huntington, South Huntington, Huntington Station, Huntington Bay, Cold Spring Harbor, Lloyd Harbor, Dix Hills, West Hills, Melville, and part of East Farmingdale.
