Man Arrested For Robbing Huntington Station Gas Station: PD

The armed robbery occurred on Saturday afternoon.

A man was arrested for robbing a gas station in Huntington Station on Saturday afternoon, police say.

According to authorities, 40-year-old Riverhead resident Jesse Huber entered BP gas station, located at 272 East Jericho Turnpike, displayed a handgun and demanded cash from an employee at the counter at 1:30 p.m. The employee complied and Huber fled the scene, police say.

Huber was arrested at the Commack Motor Inn, located at 2231 Jericho Turnpike in Commack, at 10:40 p.m. following an investigation.

He was charged with first-degree robbery and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Sunday.
