Man Seriously Injured In Suffolk Hit-And-Run: Police
The man was walking in the road when a vehicle struck him and kept driving, police say.
GREENLAWN, NY — A Huntington man was seriously injured in a hit-and-run in Greenlawn early Thursday, Suffolk police said.
William Thomas, 24, was walking northbound in the roadway on Park Avenue, near Hofstra Drive, when he was struck by a vehicle at 5 a.m., police said. The driver kept going after hitting Thomas, police said.
Thomas was treated for serious injuries at Huntington Hospital after Greenlawn Rescue brought him there, police said.
