Overnight Closures Coming To Route 110 In Town Of Huntington
A pavement resurfacing project is expected to take around three weeks. Here is what drivers should know about the closures.
TOWN OF HUNTINGTON, NY — Overnight closures are coming to State Route 110, or New York Avenue, in the Town of Huntington, the New York State Department of Transportation announced.
Both directions of State Route 110 will be closed between High Street and Prime Avenue in the Town of Huntington on weeknights beginning Monday, July 7, between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m., weather permitting. The pavement resurfacing project is expected to take around three weeks.
- Northbound traffic will be detoured onto westbound High Street to northbound New Street, continue northbound onto Wall Street to eastbound Mille Lane to southbound Prime Avenue to return to State Route 110.
- Southbound traffic will be detoured onto eastbound Madison Street to southbound Sabbath Day Path to westbound State Route 25A (Main Street) to southbound New Street to eastbound High Street to return to State Route 110.
Electronic message signs near the work zone will advise motorists of additional traveler information.
