Pedestrian Seriously Injured In Huntington Station Crash
The man was crossing the street when he was hit by a BMW, police say.
HUNTINGTON STATION, NY — A pedestrian was seriously injured in a crash in Huntington Station on Monday evening, Suffolk police said.
Joseph Romeo, 68, of Huntington Station, was crossing Columbia Street when he was struck by a 2019 BMW being driven northeast at 6:38 p.m., police said. Romeo was brought to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries, police said.
The BMW driver, a 29-year-old Medford man, was not injured, police said. The BMW was impounded for a safety check.
