Police Seek Huntington Station Package Thief

Do you recognize this man? Police are looking for him.

Police are looking to identify the man who stole a package off the front steps of a home in Huntington Station earlier this month.

According to authorities, a man ran up the front steps of a home on Pickwick Hill Drive and stole a package that was delivered at around 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 3.

The man fled with the package in a black four-door sedan, possibly a BMW, police say. He is wanted for petty larceny.

Police described the man as white, in his late teens or early 20s, and wearing dark-colored pants, a red shirt under a blue jacket, a brown knit cap and red sneakers.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
