Update: Power Out in Parts of Huntington

Update: About 51 customers around Huntington lost power Sunday morning. As of 7 p.m., about half had had their power restored. 

Most of the remaining outages were  Huntington Station, with others reported in Halesite. The Long Island Power Authority had no estimate on when the power in Huntington Station would be restored.

LIPA said power outages could be reported online or by calling 800-490-0075 or 631-755-6900.

The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory Saturday that continues until 6 p.m. Sunday, warning of  winds from 20 to 35 mph with gusts around 45 mph.
