She '24/7 Gives Of Herself': Huntington Volunteer EMT Is Local Hero
We all know someone who's making a difference. Here's one local resident who is having an impact in Huntington.

HUNTINGTON, NY — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.
Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. We’re working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.

What does the local hero do?
Office manager in medical practice and volunteer EMT in 2 agencies--Huntington Community First Aid Squad and Greenlawn Fire Department.
Why do you believe the local hero should be recognized or honored?
24/7 gives of herself. Rescue Captain at Greenlawn and over 40 yrs of service at HCFAS. Most compassionate person I know on the ambulance and very knowledgeable practitioner and teacher.
What's one thing you want everyone to know about the local hero?
What a giving person she is.
