Woman Stabbed In Leg In Huntington Station

Police are investigating an assault where a woman was stabbed in Huntington Station on Wednesday evening.

According to authorities, the woman was in the parking lot of a shopping center, located at 953 New York Ave., when she was stabbed in the leg at 5:30 p.m. The suspect who stabbed her fled the scene, police say.

The woman was taken to a local hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Police believe the assault was domestic related.
