Fog Advisory For Suffolk County: National Weather Service

SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY — A dense fog weather advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Thursday morning.

The service warned motorists of visibility less than one quarter mile in dense fog until about 11 a.m.

The advisory is in effect for Suffolk County, most of southern Connecticut, and northern Westchester counties in interior southeast New York.

If driving, slow down, the service encourages motorists to use fog lamps or low beam headlights,
and leave plenty of braking distance ahead of you.
