LONG ISLAND, NY — After a long winter, Long Islanders will experience warm, sunny days of Spring this week.
From Wednesday through Friday, temperatures will hit the low 70s for the first time in 2023. Be sure to wear your sunscreen and stay hydrated!
However, the National Weather Service announced a Hazardous Weather Outlook for Tuesday though Wednesday in Suffolk County. The dry conditions can cause potential elevated brush fires, as wind gusts will be about 29mph.

The warning also affects southern Connecticut and northeast New Jersey and southeast New York.
