King Kullen To Close Levittown Store This Week

The supermarket chain's lease was not renewed at the Hempstead Turnpike location, a spokesperson said.

LEVITTOWN, NY — King Kullen in Levittown is closing. A spokesperson for the supermarket chain, Lloyd Singer, confirmed to Patch that the store will shutter on Thursday.

King Kullen, a mainstay of Levittown Plaza for 30 years, did not have the lease renewed, Singer said.

No layoffs will take place, and employees are getting offered positions are other King Kullen locations, he said.

The Hempstead Turnpike shopping center also features Domenico's Restaurant, Starbucks and a Dental 365.
