Nassau Man Fired Multiple Shotgun Blasts Into Air: Police
Police say they recovered multiple spent shells from the man's backyard. His 8-year-old son was in the home at the time.

LEVITTOWN, NY — A Nassau County man was arrested Sunday night after police say he fired multiple shots into the air in his backyard.
According to police, multiple 911 calls were made for gunshots from the backyard of a home on Clay Lane in Levittown around 10:20 p.m. Police arrested the homeowner, Jingguo Wang, 44, without incident.
Police say they recovered nine shotgun shell casings, a shotgun and a rifle. Wang's 8-year-old son was in the home while he was shooting the gun, police said. No one was injured.

Wang is charged with first-degree reckless endangerment, endangering the welfare of a child and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He was arraigned on Monday in First District Court in Hempstead and released on his own recognizance.
