Walmart Set To Reopen, Remodeled Levittown Supermarket

The overhaul includes expanded aisles and a larger deli section.

LEVITTOWN, NY — A grand opening will be held on Friday for the remodeled Walmart Neighborhood Market in Levittown.

A ribbon cutting will take place with members of Walmart, local leaders and community members.

Once inside, customers will see a fresh look with new paint, fixture, signage and LED lighting for a brighter experience.

There is a larger deli and hot bar offering ready-to-eat meals. Expanded aisles and pharmacy improvements, including a new consult room.

Shoppers can also use the enhanced online grocery pickup and delivery options.

  • Enhanced Deli & Hot Bar: A larger, full-service deli with a hot bar offering fresh, ready-to-eat meals.
  • Expanded Aisles: A reconfigured layout to provide more space and convenience for shoppers.
  • Online Grocery Pickup & Delivery Upgrades: Enhancements to support increased demand for online grocery services.
  • Pharmacy Improvements: A new consult room for private conversations and pharmacy delivery services to better serve customers’ healthcare needs.

"At Walmart, we are committed to enhancing our customers' shopping experience, and we are excited to unveil this newly updated Walmart Neighborhood Market," said Dwyne Batin, store manager. "From expanded aisles to a larger deli with full-service hot bar, these upgrades ensure we continue to meet the needs of our Levittown community."

At the 8 a.m. ribbon cutting, Gloria Domini from Division Avenue School will be singing the National Anthem.

Additionally, to commemorate the grand reopening, Walmart is making donations to the following local charities:

  • Nassau County Police Department Foundation — $2,000
  • Cops Helping Cops Foundation — $1,000
  • Leukemia & Lymphoma Society — $1,000
  • Mother Against Drunk Driving — $1,000
  • Maurer Foundation For Breast Health Education — $1,000

The store will also reveal a new mural paying homage to historic Levittown where homes provided for veterans returning after World War II.
