
The is holding voter registration today, April 2, and a public budget information meeting April 5 at 7 p.m. for its upcoming budget vote and trustee election on April 12.
Voter registration is being held at the library from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. today. To vote you must be a registered voter living within the Lindenhurst school district.
To register you must be a United States citizen, and 18 years old by December 31 of the year in which you register and must be 18 by the time of the library vote.

You must also be living at your present address for at least 30 days before the election, not be in jail or on parole for a felony conviction and not claim the right to vote elsewhere.

The library is putting up its proposed operating budget for the fiscal year starting July 1, 2011 and ending June 30, 2012, for a vote on April 12 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
