Car Hits Local Rite Aid

A local driver nearly created an unwanted drive-thru at the local on Thursday night as the person’s car hit the outside of the located on Wellwood Avenue in North Lindy, causing minor damage to the building.

While details as to what took place are unknown at presstime, an eyewitness dining at a nearby restaurant said the car jumped the curb and sidewalk, and collided with the lower portion of the building.

The drug store is located in the shopping center located just East of the Wellwood Avenue exit on Sunrise Highway, around the corner from where Sears Hardware just .

It was not immediately known on May 31 if the driver of the car was injured or if anyone in the store was injured.
