Lindenhurst Police Blotter: Cocaine And Heroin Possession

LINDENHURST, NY — Curious about what's going on in your neighborhood? These are recent incidents reported in the Lindenhurst area from April 29 through May 5.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

• May 2: Dylan Nuzzie, 36, of North Fulton Street in Lindenhurst, was on Sunrise Highway when police found him in possession of a syringe with fluid in it and a clear baggie with a white powder in it. Both were proven to be heroin, police said. He was charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, police said.
• May 3: Thomas Paul Whittaker, 43, or Merritt Street in Lindenhurst was found in possession of cocaine, police said. Whittaker was arrested and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, police said.
