Lindy HS Students Help in Post-Sandy Spring Cleanup
Varsity track team and Italian club team up to help in "Beautification After Sandy."

The Lindenhurst High School varsity track team and the Italian Club participated in “Beautification after Sandy,” in cooperation with Camp Bulldog, Lindenhurst Rotary and Interact Club.
The program provided general spring-cleaning on lawns for homes that suffered damage during Superstorm Sandy.Â
Forty students joined coaches and staff to work on five homes in one afternoon. Everyone was provided gloves, plastic bags and sanitizers by the sponsoring organizations.
“It felt good to help people in the community,” said Italian club member Andrew Reveri.
“It was great to lend a hand to the people who are still working on their homes,” added track team member Vincent Destasio.Â
