Lindy Man Involved in One-Car Crash Dies
Rafael Rajo, 21, of Lindenhurst, has died of his injuries sustained in July 4 crash, police said.
The Lindenhurst man who suffered serious injuries in the early morning hours of July 4 after being ejected from his vehicle in a on North Wellwood Avenue has died, police said.
Rafael Rajo, 21, had been driving northbound on Wellwood when his vehicle left the road, struck a curb and utility pole, and then overturned near the intersection of Maple Drive in North Lindenhurst at 3:50 a.m., Suffolk Police said.
Rajo was transported to Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow early Monday morning where he was admitted with severe head trauma.

The SCPD impounded the vehicle for a safety check, and indicated that the investigation is continuing.
Police have asked anyone with information on the one-vehicle crash to call the First Precinct at 631-854-8138.
