Police: Local Dairy Barn Robbed
First Squad detectives investigating Friday night armed robbery.
Suffolk County First Squad detectives are investigating an armed robbery that occurred in Lindenhurst last Friday night.
According to detectives, two men robbed the Dairy Barn at S. 15th Street and Montauk Highway. Police said they used a weapon and demanded cash.
The manager of the Dairy Barn, who declined to give his name, was made aware of the robbery when he arrived for work Saturday morning.

“I came in today and there was a note left for me,” he said. “I didn’t even get a call.” The note was from an employee, not the police, he added.
The manager didn’t any have details beyond that and didn’t know how much money was taken.

“All I know is that there was a robbery, and as far as I know there were no injuries," he said. "But I wasn’t given any specifics. They [the police] are not giving it out. They have to do a full audit. Nobody gave me any information."
No arrests have been made and the incident remains under investigation, police said.
