3. The (LMS) PTA’s continues today from 6 a.m. to noon. Funds raised by the daily charity event will go toward the LMS PTA, so it’s asking for donations of unwanted used clothing and domestics. The drop-off container is located near north side of the LMS.

4. Feeling the call of the stage, or simply seeking some good local entertainment? Head down to for music and open mic night. It’s located at 125 South Wellwood Avenue.

5. Before March comes to a close, be sure to head to ’s (LML) for the Book Swap and Parents as Reading Partners. Book Swap allows patrons to bring in books from home to trade, one for one, with books brought in by others. Reading Partners encourages parents to read with their children each day. Come to the LML anytime after March 1 to get your folder, and at the end of the month bring your sticker-filled folder in for a prize. It’s open to parents with preschoolers and children in kindergarten to fifth grade.

There are two more things you should do, too.
