Meet Dunkin, Shelter Pet of the Week

Looking for a new family pet? This sweet pup may be the right one for you.

America is running to adopt Dunkin.

Oh, how the staff at the Town of Babylon Animal Shelter wishes that were true.

This sweet pup who got his name after he decided to guzzle a volunteer's decaf Columbian coffee is now one of the shelter’s featured pets seeking a forever home.

Dunkin is a young, adult, neutered brindle Pit Bull terrier mix who seems to blend in with the current crowd of brindle Pits at the shelter, but according to the shelter’s staff, his personality shines through.

And, they said, this friendly, cuddly pup “has no idea he is too big to sit on your lap.”

Or simply go to meet Dunkin. The shelter’s open between 10 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
