Networking Event For Sandy Victims Set
Several agencies will be on hand Saturday at the Lindenhurst Rainbow Senior Center to provide assistance to Lindenhurst residents in need.

As Lindenhurst residents continue their recovery and rebuilding efforts following Hurricane Sandy, a meeting will be held Saturday to provide further assistance for those in need.
Resources for Residents, A Post Sandy Networking Meeting will be held at the Lindenhurst Rainbow Senior Center, 293 Buffalo Ave., from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Among the groups expected to be in attendance are Community Development Corp., Long Island Housing Partnership, Catholic Charities, Camp Bulldog, Adopt A House, Crisis Response International (CRI) and the Village of Lindenhurst Building Department.

“This event was developed in an effort to put the many residents in need in direct contact with the agencies and groups able to help,” said Maryann Weckerle, a Village of Lindenhurst trustee. “We are grateful to community volunteers such as Camp Bulldog and Adopt A House who have been working closely with local governments to address the needs of residents in storm-affected areas.”
