March 11: Local Fundraisers, Fish Taco Fridays, Letters Solicitation

It’s Friday and here’s what you need to know about the goings-on in Long Beach today:

1. Long Beach Relay for Life will hold a Spin 4A Cure Ride starting at 6:30 p.m. at Pure Fitness at Industrial Place in Island Park. Admission is $10 per person and all proceeds from the class will benefit the American Cancer Society.

2. The 3rd Annual Robert Manzoni Fund Dinner will be held at Bridgeview Yacht Club at Waterfront Boulevard in Island Park at 7 p.m. The Long Beach-based Robert Manzoni Fund donates money to local families whose loved ones suffer from cancer.

3. Swingbellys on West Beech Street will hold fish taco Fridays during Lent starting today through Easter.
