March 18: Ladies Night Out, Fun Zone, Free Tax Aid

1. Free tax aid for residents over 60 is available, courtesy of AARP, at the Long Beach Library from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today and on Mar. 25.

2. A “Friday Night Fun Zone” is held at the Long Beach Ice Arena every Friday, with skating from 7 to 9 p.m. and billiards, table and video games and a snack bar 7 to 10 p.m.

3. It's Ladies Night Out at Earth Arts. Relax, chat, create and BYOB! Prizes and give-aways top off this fun and inspiring way to start your weekend. RSVP recommended!

4. Later today on Long Beach Patch: Three years ago today Island Park residents voted to give parents the choice to send their children to Long Beach High School. How has that decision worked out?
