Lynbrook PD: Lynbrook Man Arrested for Criminal Mischief

The following information was supplied by the Lynbrook Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate guilt.

Arrests

  • On April 9 at 2:30 a.m., Mahendranauth Ramaischrand, 35, of South Ozone Park, was arrested and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated and driving while intoxicated on Merrick Road in Lynbrook.
  • On April 10 at 2:50 p.m., Steve R. Smythe Jr., 24, of Freeport, was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of an accident on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook.
  • On April 10 at 9:11 p.m., Deni J. Mora, 22, of Brentwood,was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana at the Lynbrook LIRR Station.
  • On April 13 at 11 p.m., Dennis O. Morgan, 49, of Brooklyn, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and equipment violation on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook.
  • On April 14 at 11:35 p.m., James Lyons, 56, of Lynbrook, was arrested and charged  with criminal mischief on Whittier Street in Lynbrook.
  • On April 15 at 8 a.m., Qweiona Moore-Tillman, 17, of Inwood, was arrested and charged with criminal contempt at Lynbrook Police Department Headquarters.
Case Report
  • Lost Property: At 09:50 a.m. on April 10, a complainant reported that they lost their wallet in the vicinity of Lewis Place. The wallet contained their New York State Driver’s License, credit cards and $4,300 in cash.
