MASSAPEQUA, NY — The Town of Oyster Bay celebrated the grand opening of a new inclusive playground on Nottinghill Drive in Massapequa. Built in partnership with Rocco's Voice for Autism and the Joseph LeRoy and Ann C. Warner Fund, the playground features appropriate and engaging sensory equipment for special-needs children.

"We are so pleased to work with such a dedicated and caring community to bring this wonderful new facility to our town," said Town Supervisor Joseph Saladino. "The commitment of organizations such as Rocco's Voice for Autism to help promote awareness and services for families of children with autism is truly inspirational, and we're also proud to name this day 'Rocco's Voice for Autism Day' in the Town of Oyster Bay."

Thanks to financial support from the Joseph LeRoy and Ann C. Warner Fund and the Town of Oyster Bay, construction of an inclusive playground on Nottinghill Drive in Massapequa got underway earlier this year after a groundbreaking ceremony was held in the spring.
