Bloomingburg Man Accused Of Raping 13-Year-Old
Police said, when troopers got to the man's home, the victim was locked in a bedroom.
BLOOMINGBURG, NY — A Sullivan County man was accused of raping a 13-year-old.
The New York State Police said, around 11:40 p.m. Sunday, troopers were sent to a Bloomingburg home for a report of a sexual assault against a minor.
When they arrived, police said, they spoke with Christopher M. Call-Ross, 29, of Bloomingburg.

While speaking with him, troopers said they learned that the victim was still in the home and had locked themselves in a bedroom.
The preliminary investigation found Call-Ross had sexually assaulted the 13-year-old, police said.

Call-Ross was arrested and charged with second-degree rape, a felony, and endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree sexual abuse, misdemeanors.
He was arraigned in the Town of Mamakating Court.
Call-Ross was sent to Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $75,000 bail, $150,000 insurance bond or $300,000 partially secured bond.
