Early Dismissals, After-School Cancellations Announced For Mid-Hudson

A major winter storm, complete with snow, rain, wind and freezing temperature, is set to affect the mid-Hudson Valley.

MID-HUDSON VALLEY, NY — With a strong winter storm headed to the region, some school districts are changing their schedules for Thursday.

As of 11 a.m., the following schools have made announcements:

  • Eldred: Early dismissal
  • Fallsburgh: Early Dismissal
  • Greenwood Lake: after-school activities canceled
  • Minisink Valley: afternoon and evening activities canceled including BOE meeting
  • Monticello: Early Dismissal
  • Onteora: Early Dismissal
  • Pine Bush: after-school activities canceled
  • Red Hook: after-school activities canceled
  • Rondout: Early Dismissal
  • Valley Central: Early Dismissal
  • Wallkill: Early Dismissal
