Pleasant Valley Man Accused Of Raping Teen

Police said the man had sexual conduct with someone who was known to him and was under the age of 15 and again under 17.

PLEASANT VALLEY, NY — A Dutchess County man was accused of raping a teenager.

The New York State Police said Sean Kelly, 49, of Pleasant Valley, was arrested Wednesday and charged with third-degree rape and second-degree criminal sex act, felonies.

Authorities said the investigation found Kelly engaged in sexual conduct with a victim who was known to him and under the age of 15 and again under the age of 17.

Kelly was arraigned in the Town of Pleasant Valley Court and sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail, $250,000 bail or $450,000 partially secured bond.
